João Fonseca graduated with a degree in dental medicine from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz (ISCSEM), Portugal, in 2005. Academic Expert in Advanced Dental Sciences of Occlusion by the Danube University, Vienna, Austria, in 2008. Founder of Biomimetic Dentistry Portugal Group in 2013 and Professor at the PostGraduation program in Biomimetic Dentistry at CESPU (Porto) since 2014. Renowned educator in Digital Dentistry and Guided surgery since 2016, has done numerous lectures and courses for many dentists and dental technicians. As an entrepreneur, he and Dr. Andre Simões kickstarted a Portuguese Brand in Digital Dentistry - Digital4all® - in 2020.
